CL-1250 is a Gigabit Ethernet transceiver that repeats optical signals between two fibreoptic ports. The CL-1250 can convert signals between multimode and singlemode fibreoptic cable or it can act as a singlemode repeater. CL-1250 can be configured to transmit over one or two fibre strands. The CL-1250 expands network data transmission distances beyond the 2km limitation of multimode optical fibre to a maximum of 110km by transmitting over singlemode fibreoptic cable in full duplex mode. The CL-1250 has easy-to-read diagnostic LED's for continuous status reports on network speed, duplex media access control connection, and network traffic. The CL-1250 uses standard SC or SC/APC fibreoptic connectors and is IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-FX compliant and operates with all devices that adhere to this standard.
